Applicants worldwide attended the second admissions webinar hosted today on Zoom by the Duke Master of Engineering in Cybersecurity. Art Ehuan, executive director of the master’s program, provided a comprehensive presentation about what makes the Duke ME in Cyber program unique. Once admitted into the program, students will embark on an academic experience during which they learn from top-world cybersecurity experts. All faculty members, including the executive director, have impressive backgrounds in the cybersecurity industry. Art Ehuan comes to Duke from Palo Alto Networks, where he served as Vice President after several other executive roles with USAA, CISCO Systems, and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

“Students admitted to the Duke Cyber program will become members of a cutting-edge and fast-growing community of professionals. They take courses adapted to the newest industry trends, learn from faculty who are the best practitioners in the field and have colleagues with interdisciplinary backgrounds in public policy, computer science, engineering, business, law, etc. They will benefit from strong career support for success and become part of an alumni network spanning multinational companies, small businesses, and exciting startups,” said the program’s executive director, Ehuan. During the webinar, candidates asked questions about how they can maximize their chances for success and how the applications are evaluated.

The webinar can be viewed here. Our next webinar will be scheduled on March 8, at 10 am, before the second application deadline on March 15 for the on-campus track and April 15 for online. Our first application deadline is January 15.
